PEARL

Pearl is a shy girl who came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She's working hard to adjust to her new surroundings, and with a little time and love, she's sure to blossom into a confident companion! Pearl has made wonderful progress in foster care, especially with crate training and a consistent daily routine. To help with her anxiety, she now sleeps in her crate overnight, which has significantly reduced accidents and morning vocalizations. She's also becoming much more comfortable with different people during potty walks, happily accepting treats and even initiating gentle interactions. Pearl loves meeting friendly dogs and has had positive introductions with larger canine friends. She's also making slow but steady progress with the resident cats, calmly sharing space in the living room. When it comes to toys, Pearl has a particular fondness for plush ones and their stuffing, though she also enjoys chewing on toy bones. She loves receiving pets and will even offer her paw to ensure she gets her fair share of attention, sometimes even joining her canine housemate in sharing a crate for treats!

Pearl is doing well and has no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Pearl is crate trained and has made great strides with potty training. She is still learning to manage distractions on walks and is slowly being introduced to cats. Continued positive reinforcement and gentle exposure will help her thrive.
