Meet Spruce! This handsome 1-year-old, 13 lb Terrier mix is ready to find his forever family. Spruce can be a bit shy when he first meets new people or encounters new situations, but with a little time and patience, his sweet, loving, and playful personality truly shines through. Once he feels comfortable, he adores spending quality time with his people. He enjoys going for walks, is motivated by treats, and is eager to continue building his confidence with positive experiences.

Ideal Home

Spruce would thrive in a home that is committed to ongoing socialization and is willing to help him explore the world at his own pace. He has done well with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion to play with and help him feel more secure. While he arrived with his best friend, Cedar, and they share a special bond, they do not need to be adopted together, though they certainly wouldn't mind finding a home as a pair!
