Ranger

Ranger is a handsome, approximately 7-year-old possible Westie mix with a calm and low-maintenance demeanor. He came to us as a stray and has since shown himself to be a chill companion who gets along well with other dogs and older, respectful children. Ranger is deaf, which means loud noises and fireworks don't bother him at all! He's past the destructive puppy phases and is happy to follow you around, enjoy short walks, and nap nearby. If you're looking for a quiet, affectionate friend, Ranger might be your perfect match.

Ongoing Health

Ranger was recently diagnosed with Ehrlichiosis, a treatable tick-borne infection. He is currently undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

Training & Support

As Ranger is deaf, he will respond well to visual cues and positive reinforcement. His calm nature means he's past typical puppy mischief.

• Adoption fees cover spay/neuter (if applicable), transport from Texas, core vaccines, heartworm testing (if applicable), deworming, and microchip.
• Adopters receive a complimentary first exam at a participating VCA Animal Hospital within 14 days of adoption.
• Limited health guarantee coverage (up to $250) is provided by VCA for specific minor illnesses diagnosed during the initial 14-day period.
