Sampson-Good Puppy!

Hi there! My name is Sampson, and I'm an adorable, friendly puppy who's about 6 months old. My breed is a bit of a mystery, but I look a lot like a Parson Russell or Jack Russell Terrier, possibly mixed with a larger dog. Regardless of my lineage, I'm incredibly cute and expected to grow into a medium-sized boy, currently weighing around 17lbs and likely to reach 30-35lbs. I arrived at the county shelter as a baby in rough shape, with scabs all over and very little fur. I was quite scared, but thankfully, Guardians of Florida stepped in and brought me into their rescue. Over the past three months, I've received all the medical care I needed to become happy, healthy, and ready for my forever home! I spent some time with a wonderful foster family while I was healing, where I learned so much about being part of a family and just being a dog. Now, I'm so excited to find my own forever family! I'm a very friendly and playful pup, and I get along well with other dogs and cats. I'm getting the hang of walking on a leash and still need a little help to finish my potty training.

Ongoing Health

I've had all the necessary medical attention to get me healthy and ready for adoption. My adoption fee includes my vet exam, up-to-date vaccines, a negative heartworm test, deworming, microchip, and neuter – all completed!

Training & Support

I'm working on my leash walking and potty training, so a family that can continue with positive reinforcement would be wonderful.
