About Colt

Hi there! I'm Colt, a 2.5-year-old, 57lb bundle of energy and joy! My best guess breed is a Lab/Pitbull mix, and I'm as affectionate, funny, playful, and friendly as they come. I absolutely adore jumping around, and my excitement is boundless when you walk through the door! I'm making great progress with crate training, though I have to admit, snuggling up in bed with you is my absolute favorite. Playing with my dog foster siblings is a blast, and we enjoy chasing and chewing on toys (sometimes the tiny human's toys too, oops!). I get along well with my foster human siblings, but very young children might find my playful energy a bit overwhelming. I'm also improving with potty training and have a knack for letting you know when I need something or when it's time to go out with a cheerful bark. All I really crave is love, and I'm patiently waiting for that special someone to show me the ropes of what it means to have a loving family. Can't wait to meet you! Colt and his brother, Kolsch, are a bonded pair and can be adopted together for a reduced fee – they truly love each other.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home that can keep up with my boundless energy and provide plenty of love and playtime. While I get along well with my foster human siblings, very young children might find my enthusiasm a bit much.

Ongoing Health

I'm fully vetted, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

I'm making progress with crate training and potty training, and I'm eager to learn even more with your guidance. I'm a quick learner and ready to be your best friend!
