Meet Albus, a gentle giant with an even bigger heart. In March 2026, at around 3 years old, Albus was rescued from the euthanasia list at Miami-Dade Animal Services after originally being found as a stray. Now safe in foster care, he's ready to find the forever family he deserves. Albus absolutely adores children and has a calm, easygoing personality. He's happiest lounging around the house like an old man, then heading outside to quietly watch the world go by or chase butterflies in the yard. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend who's equal parts couch potato and backyard butterfly chaser, Albus may be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced yard or someone willing to continue his leash training would be ideal. He isn't a fan of cats and would prefer a cat-free home.

Ongoing Health

Albus is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

He is strong and can pull on the leash, so continued leash training is recommended.
