Gracie is a sweet, friendly, and expressive girl who loves being part of a family. She gets along well with cats and other dogs, but it's important to keep food time structured. Gracie can be protective of her belongings, so she does best when fed separately or hand-fed treats to ensure a calm experience. She's a talker with plenty of personality, making her a better fit for a home that isn't an apartment. Gracie is potty trained and reliable with a consistent schedule, especially with doggy door access. Crating is not her strong suit, as she's an escape artist, so any needed crate must be very sturdy. She truly thrives in a home where someone is around most of the day, allowing her to move freely and feel secure. Gracie is affectionate, social, and happiest when her people are close by.
