About Hero

Hero is a magnificent 5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart of gold and a story of resilience. He was found as a stray in Indiana, underweight and in rough shape, with infected ears, intestinal parasites, and a sore on his nose. To make matters more challenging, Hero was heartworm positive. Thankfully, he was rescued and received extensive treatment for his heartworm, thanks to generous donations, and has now been given the all-clear! He also underwent a neuter surgery and is ready to embark on his new life.

Ideal Home

Hero would thrive in a home with a physically fenced yard, as he was a stray and needs a secure outdoor space. He gets along well with other dogs and is already housebroken.

Ongoing Health

Hero has completed his heartworm treatment and has been medically cleared. He was neutered on May 8th.

Training & Support

Hero is housebroken and gets along with other dogs. He needs a secure, fenced yard.
