Waffles McGee, a 1 year and 7 month old neutered male Staffordshire Mix weighing around 55 lbs, is a truly special boy. Despite a past that's a bit of a mystery, Waffles still has an unwavering belief in people. He'll greet you with a gentle wag and walks nicely on leash, always seeking to be close. His goofy, lovable personality is infectious, and he has a bounce in his step and an abundance of love to give. Waffles is on a journey of healing, both physically and emotionally, and he's searching for a patient and understanding adopter who can see the incredible dog he is becoming.

Ideal Home

Waffles would thrive in a home with a confident and patient owner who can provide structure and love. He'll need a little time to decompress and would do best with someone who understands strong, loyal breeds and is ready for a true companion. Older children are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Waffles McGee is currently being treated for heartworm, and adopters will be guided through the process. He is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP), and microchipped.

Training & Support

Waffles walks nicely on leash. While he is house-trained and crate-trained are unknown, he is likely to pick them up with a consistent routine. He is selective with other dogs and needs proper introductions.
