Thankfully, a foster’s amazing husband was in the right place at the right time and opened his car door, and without hesitation, Hammie leapt right in—as if she knew she was meant to be saved. She has been posted on lost and found sites, but unfortunately, an owner did not come forward, and she was neither microchipped nor had an identifying collar or tags.
At approximately one year old and 36 pounds, Hammie is the perfect size for snuggles on the couch or adventures by your side. She’s unbelievably sweet, loyal, and loving—a true shadow who wants nothing more than to follow her person through life. Hammie is the kind of dog who doesn’t just come into your life—she changes it for the better. She’ll be the one waiting at the door, the one who listens to your stories, and the one who proves every single day that second chances are worth believing in. Ideal Home
Hammie is great with other dogs and fantastic with children. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

Hammie is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, rabies, bordatella, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and current on preventatives.
Training & Support
Hammie is house trained and uses a doggy door. She is described as pure sugar with zero "butthead" tendencies.
