A little about them
Hi, I'm Rita, a bubbly and energetic puppy looking for an active family. I’ll need patience and understanding as I learn about the world, potty training, and foundation manners. Reward-based training and continued socialization will help me grow into a confident companion.
Ideal Home
Rita would enjoy an active family committed to continued socialization with dogs, people, sights, and sounds. She is approximately 8 weeks old, currently weighs 6–11 pounds, and is expected to grow into a medium-large dog with moderate to high energy.
Ongoing Health
Rita has received full-service veterinary care and vaccines. She has been exposed to or may be infected with ringworm and is currently being treated and tested as a precaution. Test results are pending; ringworm is treatable, and good hygiene and cleaning practices can reduce the risk of spread to people and other pets.
Rita has been microchipped and will be spayed.
Training & Support
Rita will benefit from reward-based training as she learns potty training and foundation manners. Pre-adoption behavior support is included, and training and puppy classes, private behavior sessions, and veterinary behavioral options are available through Gigi’s.
