Meet Meka, a gentle and loving hound-mastiff mix who's just shy of 5 years old. Meka has a heart full of love and is always ready to brighten your day with his sweet nature. He enjoys cozy snuggles and will melt your heart with his puppy-dog eyes, especially when a treat is involved. Meka is incredibly friendly, eager to meet new people, and spreads happiness wherever he goes. He's very food-motivated and eager to please, making him a great candidate for fun training sessions. Meka is looking for a forever home where he can shower his humans with affection. While he would love to be adopted with his sister, Kalena, his biggest wish is simply to find a place to call his own.

Ongoing Health
All vetting is covered in the adoption fee, which includes DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Meka is food-motivated and eager to please, which will be a great asset in training. He has been socialized and worked on basic commands and leash training. As with all rescue dogs, continued training efforts and understanding will help him be the best dog he can be.

Transportation
Meka is currently in Angleton, TX. He is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Dogs are transported via air-conditioned buses with two drivers and two attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow his journey on a private Facebook Event page. Your adoption coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
