Buddha - Social Good Boy

Buddha is a 10-month-old pit bull puppy with a huge heart, beautiful grey eyes, and world-class cuddle skills. He loves splashing in water, exploring, playing, and then curling up on you for snuggles. Despite a tough start — found on the LA streets with kennel cough and a limp, then scheduled for euthanasia at a kill shelter — Buddha has healed beautifully thanks to a dedicated foster team. Today he is affectionate, social, energetic, healthy, and so ready to finally find the forever home he deserves. He’s potty-trained, crate-trained, and beginning obedience lessons. Buddha is a strong, active boy who thrives with structure and would do best in a home that can give him exercise, guidance, and lots of love.

Ideal Home

Buddha would love a home with an active individual or family who enjoys training, walks, and playtime. He'd be happiest with a friendly resident dog and would appreciate a yard. Patience, structure, and lots of cuddles are a must! He has medium-high puppy energy.

Ongoing Health

Buddha has fully recovered from kennel cough and a limp. He is now healthy and energetic.

Training & Support

Buddha is potty-trained and crate-trained. He is currently in beginner obedience training. He is strong-willed, so he'd do best with an active adopter or family who can provide consistent structure and training. He would do best with another playful, balanced dog in the home. He has not been tested with cats but has been around children in public.
