Malibu is a handsome, approximately 4-year-old boy with a heart of gold and a spirit that shines brightly despite a tough start. He was found as a stray in a Houston shelter, facing an uncertain future. Thankfully, he was rescued and has since been fully vetted and is on the path to recovery. Malibu is a playful, sweet, and deeply affectionate companion who thrives on human interaction. Once he settles in, he reveals a calm and gentle demeanor, showing gratitude for his second chance.

Malibu would love a family that can appreciate his affectionate nature and provide him with a stable, loving environment where he can continue to blossom.

Ongoing Health

Malibu is heartworm positive but is already undergoing treatment. He has received a ProHeart 12 injection and is completing a 30-day course of doxycycline as part of a slow-kill protocol.

Training & Support

Malibu is not house-trained and will need continued guidance and patience in this area. He is eager to please and will benefit from consistent training and positive reinforcement.
