Meet Abby! This sweet 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix is a gentle soul with a playful spirit, weighing in at a perfect 64lbs. Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on her monthly preventatives, making her ready to shower her new family with love. She adores her foster sister and greets new doggy friends with a happy wag and a big smile, showing a great understanding of canine communication. While she can be a little possessive of her people at times, she's respectful and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion as an only dog or with a compatible canine buddy. Get ready for some adorable zoomies – Abby still has a fun-loving side!
Ideal Home
Abby is a professional cuddle bug who firmly believes she's a lap dog, so a home where she can be close to her people is ideal. She's independent, curious, smart, loyal, and wonderfully calm, but thunderstorms can be a bit frightening for her. We don't have a history of her living with cats or young children, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids (10+) would be best.

Abby is a healthy girl and up-to-date on all her medical needs.
Training & Support
Abby is a star when it comes to training! She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and even puts herself to bed by happily going into her crate. She settles beautifully when left alone and hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding or food aggression. She enjoys leisurely walks and handles stairs like a champ. While she travels well in the car, it's not her favorite activity.
