Cassie

Cassie is an approximately 6-year-old, 65-pound Plott Hound mix with a heart full of love waiting to be shared. She has been patiently waiting for her forever home for close to two years, and her foster can attest that once Cassie feels comfortable and safe, she blossoms into the sweetest companion. Watching her joy as she experiences the world, jumps for a treat, or happily tosses her toys is truly rewarding.

Ideal Home

Cassie needs a patient and loving home where she can feel secure. She requires a fenced-in yard and should be tethered until she's comfortable. She is fearful of fireworks and new environments, so a calm and predictable setting would be best. Cassie also needs structured and slow introductions to new dogs, though she does well once comfortable. She has lived with multiple other dogs and older children in her foster home.

Cassie is up-to-date on all vaccines and prevention.

Training & Support

Cassie is a bit fearful of new situations, so patience and understanding will be key to helping her adjust. Slow and steady introductions to new dogs are essential.

• We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a physical location.
• All dogs are in foster homes, and meet-and-greets are scheduled after application approval and a home visit.
