About Mily

Meet Mily! 🤍 This sweet girl was rescued in mid-January from a heartbreaking case of neglect. She had been chained without access to food or water and was so severely emaciated that she didn’t even have the strength to lift her head. For the first month, Mily couldn’t walk, but her recovery has been nothing short of a miracle! As she slowly regained her strength, a playful and curious spirit began to shine through. She now enjoys exploring the world on walks and interacting with other dogs. Mily is still building strength and confidence daily, but she's blossoming more and more each day. With people, she can be a bit shy at first, especially with sudden movements, but once she trusts you, she forms a deep bond and stays close with quiet loyalty. She currently coexists peacefully with other dogs at the shelter. Mily is an incredibly special girl who has overcome so much and is more than ready for the loving forever home she truly deserves. 🐾✨

Ideal Home

A patient and loving home that understands her past trauma. She enjoys exploring on walks and gets along well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Mily has completed our full medical protocol, including vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and bloodwork. She is up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her spay surgery is pending.

Training & Support

Given her past, Mily can be a bit shy with new people, especially with sudden movements. Building her trust and providing a stable, gentle environment will help her continue to thrive.
