Bronco

Bronco is a sweet, sensitive 1-year-old, 40.8lb Pit Mix looking for a patient family to help him settle into his next chapter. His previous owner shared that Bronco is partially house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs. He can be shy when meeting new people, but he has continued to show us what a good boy he is by doing very well in our playgroups with other dogs. Bronco can be nervous around loud sounds and new situations, so he would likely thrive in a calmer home where he can feel safe and build confidence at his own pace. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he’s incredibly sweet and loving. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be close to his people and just needs reassurance that everything is okay. With patience, understanding, and consistency, Bronco is going to make someone a wonderful companion.

Ongoing Health

Bronco has a grade 3 heart murmur that is not currently affecting him. He is not yet neutered.

Training & Support

Bronco is partially house-trained and can be a little jumpy with kids. He is shy when meeting new people initially. He needs reassurance and consistency to build confidence.
