Patty is a 2-year-old Havanese mix with a playful spirit and a growing sense of confidence. She came to us with a very matted coat, so she’s sporting a short haircut for now—but once her soft curls grow back, she’ll be looking like a little superstar! Patty has been with us for a while, and while her good qualities are truly wonderful, some areas need a little work. This seems to deter people from adopting her, but with the right combination of family, environment, and training, she will accomplish great things! She’s leash trained, housebroken, and absolutely loves toys—especially stealing socks, so guard your laundry!
Ideal Home
Patty would do best in a home with no children. She is okay with other dogs but does not necessarily need to live with another dog.
Ongoing Health
Patty is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and spayed.
Training & Support
Patty can be a bit stubborn and may not listen when she's being told what to do. She also guards things of high value and could benefit from training with a behaviorist to ensure it's done properly and effectively.

- We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. Applicants who live farther away may still apply, but we do prioritize local applications to serve our local community first.
