Solstice

Sweet Solstice is a young dog who, despite a tough start in life, is brimming with affection. She arrived with eight puppies, one of whom had significant medical needs, making her journey a challenging one. Solstice has been heartworm positive and is currently recovering, and now that her puppies have found their forever homes, it's her turn! She's quiet and a bit shy with new people, but she's eager to befriend everyone she meets, including most dogs. However, cats make her nervous, so a home without feline friends would be best. With a gentle hand and patience, Solstice will undoubtedly blossom into the wonderful dog she's meant to be.

Ideal Home

A quieter home with a predictable routine would be ideal for Solstice. While she enjoys gentle play once she feels comfortable, a calm environment will help her build confidence. A home without cats is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Solstice has been heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment and recovery.

Training & Support

Solstice is shy with new people and will benefit from a patient adopter who can help her build confidence.
