PUPPY

Puppy is a sweet and active 2 1/2 year old, 80-pound boy who is a staff and volunteer favorite! He's known for his striking pink skin, visible through his thin white fur. Puppy absolutely adores catching salmon treats and is always up for a big hug. He's house-trained and generally good with kids, though he can be a bit of a rough player. When he's not being playful, he's happy to be a couch potato or just hang out by your feet. He enjoys being walked several times a day and has a keen interest in chasing small critters like bunnies and squirrels.

Ideal Home

Puppy would do best in a home where he can be the only pet. Due to his energetic play style and tendency to chase critters, he will need supervision when outside and a secure, fenced yard, as he has managed to escape in the past.

Ongoing Health

Puppy has allergies that require special care, including regular baths and a salmon-based diet.

Training & Support

While Puppy is house-trained, he can be a rough player, so continued guidance on gentle play with children is recommended. He also pulls on the leash, so continued leash training will be beneficial.
