Owen is a 1-year-old, 30lb heeler mix who is as sweet as can be. He's described by his foster as a giant puppy and has a ton of potential for the right person. Owen is people-social and dog-friendly. His cutest feature is his clodhopper feet that flop and pound the ground when he runs, as if he's wearing shoes that are too big! If you're looking for a loyal buddy, Owen is your guy.

Ideal Home

Owen would do best with a training-forward person who can teach him his manners. We are unsure how he would do with cats, critters, or livestock.

Owen is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.

Training & Support

Owen is super sweet but needs guidance to learn his P's and Q's. He has a lot of potential to be a wonderful companion with consistent training.

Owen is currently located in Reedley, CA (near Fresno). Prospective adopters must have a plan in place to meet and pick up their dog from the foster location. No transport is available.
