Maisey is a sweet, playful Labrador Retriever and large herding dog mix who is thriving in her foster home. This big, affectionate puppy is eager to please, loves bonding with people, and enjoys outdoor play with dogs weighing 40 pounds or more.

Ideal Home

Maisey would thrive with an active family committed to continuing her social skills, confidence building, and manners training. She loves children, but her size and puppy enthusiasm may knock over small children, so sturdy or older children are recommended. Her compatibility with small dogs and cats has not yet been tested.

Ongoing Health

Maisey weighs approximately 70 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, microchipped, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and tested negative for heartworms.

Training & Support

Maisey is potty trained and crate trained. She is practicing leash walking on short daily walks and learning to keep all four feet on the floor instead of jumping up for attention. Her foster family reports that she is improving every day.
