Lou is a social butterfly and a playgroup rockstar, currently thriving in an amazing foster home where he's become everyone's favorite companion. His sweet personality, playful spirit, and endless love for people and dogs make him a true joy.

Ideal Home

Lou absolutely adores other dogs and would truly flourish in a home with a confident canine sibling to be his playmate and best friend. Having another dog around helps him feel secure and brings out his happiest, most relaxed self. He enjoys staying active and would love an owner who enjoys adventures, whether it's hitting the trails or going for a run. Lou is a fantastic passenger in the car, making him an easy companion for outings. He has done great free roaming in his foster home when left alone, but he doesn't care much for the crate.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
