Meet Petunia! This adorable 11-month-old Lab mix is a sweet, social girl who loves people, dogs, and kids. She's currently thriving in her foster home, proving to be a loving and adaptable pup who fits right into busy family life. Petunia comes from an area with high shelter euthanasia rates, so by adopting her, you're saving a life and opening up space for another dog in need.

Ideal Home

Petunia would thrive in a home that's ready for the fun and adventure of raising a puppy. She enjoys spending time with her family, whether that's playing in the yard, going for walks, or relaxing at home. She would love a canine sibling, but she'd also be happy as an only dog. She has already shown she can do great with young children and is gentle and affectionate.

Ongoing Health

Petunia is up-to-date on all her vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Petunia is still young and will need a family committed to ongoing training and socialization. Implementing routine, structure, boundaries, and proper socialization from the start is essential. Crate training is required upon arrival to help with potty training and energy management.

Transportation

Petunia is currently fostered in Indianapolis, IN. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transport due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
