Butter Bean is a 2.5 year old, 80 lb male Terrier/Shepherd mix who is looking for his forever home. He was rescued as a puppy with his two sisters from a difficult situation. While his sisters have found their homes, Butter Bean is still waiting for his chance. He's a gentle and smart boy who has spent his days outdoors, accustomed to livestock and socializing with people, other dogs, and children. He's also had some limited exposure to cats. Butter Bean has a protective nature, always looking out for his sisters, and he enjoys being petted and receiving affection. He's a sturdy pup who barks when his donkey companion gets "sassy," but he's eager to please and learn. Help Butter Bean complete his rescue story and become a cherished family pet!

Butter Bean would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play. A patient person or family is needed to help him transition to indoor living, though his sisters adapted quickly, suggesting he will too.
