Awesome COURAGE, young kind gentle shepherd mix

Awesome, kind COURAGE is a petite, beautiful Shepherd mix, approximately 1 year old or younger. She came to us recently from Stanislaus shelter with several of her friends. Courage is kind, gentle, loving, and extremely special. She is an incredible friend for you and/or your family and other dogs. Volunteers told us the story of how Courage was shy and shut down, but began to emerge like a beautiful flower when another dog came into the shelter. The two girls became best friends, play bowing and running around the shelter's play yard. We were able to save Courage, and her best friend went to another rescue, all of us hoping they will find loving homes! Every shelter is overcrowded, and even perfect dogs like Courage are headed to the euthanasia room daily for space. The volunteers and LBWF could not let that happen.

Ideal Home

Courage would love a home with a yard and would thrive with canine companions to play with. She also needs a social life with you and your friends. She would love to go to the beach, camping, and join in on barbecues and all the fun things life has to offer.

Ongoing Health

Courage is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped.

Training & Support

She will excel in simple obedience and fun times. She is smart, kind, goofy, and intelligent.
