Cody is a gentle soul with long legs and soft eyes, estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing 90 lbs. He has a quiet, tender presence and is more likely to lean into you for comfort than to dominate a space. Cody shows affection on his own terms, melting into his people with a soft lean once he feels safe – his version of a hug. He may take time to warm up to new people and environments, preferring a calm space and a steady routine to build trust. Once settled, he's an easy companion. Cody enjoys the company of other dogs but prefers a calm, respectful presence rather than boisterous play. His favorite activity is going for car rides, enjoying the simple pleasure of cruising with the windows down. Cody also demonstrated a respectful curiosity towards the household cat, showing no signs of chasing or aggression. He is ready for someone who appreciates his gentle, soulful nature and offers him safety and understanding.
Ideal Home
Cody would thrive in a peaceful and predictable home environment. A yard would be a bonus, but a calm, patient, and kind energy in the home is most important. He can coexist peacefully with calm, respectful dogs and would likely do well in a home with a feline friend, especially one that also respects boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Cody is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations and preventative care.
Training & Support
Cody may take a week or two to settle into a new home. He's not a high-energy dog and prefers calm company. He has shown respect for cats and other dogs.
