Crosby is a big, happy guy, estimated to be born on 11/19/23, weighing in at 50 lbs. He's a mix of Retriever and Staffy who is ready to join your family! His absolute favorite thing is to cuddle up in bed with lots of cozy blankets, making him the perfect buddy for a rainy day spent with a book or a favorite movie. He's also the perfect companion for a sunny day, whether you're hiking in the mountains or taking a long walk on the beach. Crosby was once a stray in Houston, Texas, wandering the streets in search of a place to call home. He found his way to us, and now he's ready for his forever home. He would thrive in a home with an active family who enjoys being outside. He also loves car rides!

- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed is based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
Transporation
Crosby is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. Pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states.
