Meet Beatrice, a 5-year-old Pitty/Staffy mix with a smile that could light up a room and a heart to match! Beatrice is pure sunshine on paws, always ready to greet you with a full-body wiggle or offer up her beloved booty for scratches. She's a master of toy-tossing, and her playful antics are sure to bring laughter into your home every single day. Beatrice is the perfect blend of playful energy and relaxed companionship. She's up for adventures like car rides or exploring, but also loves nothing more than curling up beside you. She's a dog who will remind you to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.
Ideal Home
Beatrice would prefer to be the only dog in the household, as she likes to have her humans all to herself. She might do okay with a very calm, easygoing male dog who respects her space, but she's not a fan of overly excitable dogs or pushy greetings. Beatrice is not a fan of cats. Apartment living is likely not her ideal scene, as she is still working on her leash manners. A home with a fenced yard would be her absolute dream, providing space for her to play with her toys and enjoy zoomies.
Ongoing Health
Beatrice is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Beatrice is a very smart and trainable dog who loves treats and is eager to please. She is working on her leash manners and building her confidence, and would benefit from continued training in these areas. She is expected to do well with children, but a meet-and-greet would be conducted to ensure a good match.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You can track their journey in real time, and there is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
