Kamoku & Kasumi

Meet Kamoku and Kasumi, a bonded pair of senior sweethearts looking for their happily ever after together! Kamoku, a 14-year-old Dachshund mix weighing 17 lbs, and Kasumi, a 5-year-old Cairn Terrier mix currently at 38 lbs (with a goal weight of 22 lbs), were surrendered when their devoted owner's health declined. They arrived with a decade's worth of adorable holiday photos, a testament to their cherished place in their owner's heart. Sadly, when their owner could no longer care for them, no one in her life stepped up to help, and they were brought to us.

These two are deeply bonded; when separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi became inconsolable. They truly need to remain a unit. When together, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other pets. They are also great with kids!

Kamoku and Kasumi would thrive in a home where they can spend their golden years together, enjoying each other's company and receiving plenty of love.

Kasumi is working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs.

Transporation

Kamoku and Kasumi are currently fostered in Brooklyn, NY. They are available for local or out-of-state adoption, provided the adopter can travel to Brooklyn to meet them.
