Meet Shaggy Doug!

Shaggy Doug is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old Mini Schnauzer/Poodle mix who weighs about 15 pounds. He came to us as a stray and was in rough shape, but after receiving plenty of love and care, he's now ready to leave his past behind and find the forever family he's always dreamed of. When first meeting new people, Shaggy Doug can be a bit shy, but he quickly warms up and reveals his incredibly sweet and loyal nature. He just wants to feel safe and loved, and with a little patience, you'll have a devoted companion by your side. He's ready for a fresh start in a home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy all the comforts he deserves.

Ideal Home

Shaggy Doug would love a home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy a life of comfort. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Training & Support

While Shaggy Doug is a well-behaved boy, he can be a little shy when meeting new people. Patience and gentle introductions will go a long way in helping him feel secure.

• Once your application has been approved, we will help you set up a meet and greet.
• We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.

Transporation

Shaggy Doug is currently located in New Jersey. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
