Clyde

Clyde is a big, happy, and goofy boy with a heart as big as he is! He was found as a stray at a hunting club in Alabama and brought into rescue on March 2, 2024. Clyde is a large 75-pound Pitbull mix who loves people and is overly friendly to everyone he meets. He has a sweet spot on his back shaped like a heart, just like his personality! He's crate trained, house-broken, and rides well in the car. Clyde enjoys snuggling and being with his people, but he can be a bit overwhelming to other dogs due to his size and energy. He loves playing with his favorite toy, a big rubber tire, and would likely do well with an older, female dog as a playmate.

Ideal Home

Clyde would thrive in a pitbull-savvy home that can continue his training and shower him with love. He would likely enjoy a family with older children who can keep up with his playful spirit.

Ongoing Health

Clyde is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. He is currently on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Clyde is already crate trained and house-broken. He needs a home that can manage his enthusiastic spurts and continue his training.
