Hi, I'm Banjo! I'm nearly 6 months old and am a happy, goofy puppy with a personality as big as my appetite for treats! My handlers say I'm always full of joy, whether I'm playing fetch, learning new things, or just making people laugh with my silly antics. I've been lucky enough to participate in the Paws on the Block program, where incarcerated handlers have provided me with daily training, structure, and socialization. My handler, Kyle, taught me that learning can be fun, and we worked on commands like "watch," "place," and loose-leash walking. I love to train because food is my love language, and I also excel at agility. I'm curious, love adventures, and always enjoy having a job to do. My handlers have given me fun nicknames like Ban-Jeezy, Bagel, and Ban-jito, which just goes to show how much personality I have!

Ideal Home

I'd do best with kiddos 10 and up. While I love to play with other dogs, I can be a bit rowdy and might do well with a tolerant canine sibling or as the solo pup. I may be inclined to chase cats, so a super dog-savvy feline would be best.

Training & Support

I'm crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. I do show some resource guarding tendencies with high-value items, so my new family should be prepared to help me build positive habits around these. I would also benefit from continuing my training in a positive reinforcement group class, as I genuinely love to learn and thrive on having a challenge.
