Sweet Pea is exactly what her name suggests – bright, affectionate, and full of joyful puppy spirit! She's a delightful mix of playful energy and gentle sweetness, making her the perfect companion for a variety of homes. Like any puppy, she loves to explore, chase, tumble, and wrestle, but she also cherishes moments of quiet affection, leaning in for cuddles and soaking up all the love. Sweet Pea is incredibly people-oriented; she lights up when she sees you and is quick to engage, whether that means playtime or snuggles. She enjoys being held, petted, and especially loves belly rubs, which she accepts with complete trust and enthusiasm. She wants to be part of everything you do, from backyard fun to simply being by your side. Her personality is vibrant yet not overwhelming, with a classic puppy curiosity that makes everything interesting, balanced by a soft side that shines when she feels safe and loved. Ongoing Health

Sweet Pea is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also tested negative for heartworm. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Sweet Pea is receiving ongoing behavioral assessments and training support from on-staff trainers. This includes work on crate training, potty training, and leash walking to prepare her for her future family.

Transportation

Sweet Pea is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time and connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
