Lemon is a beautiful, young German Shepherd with a sweet, affectionate, and loyal personality. Around 1 year old and weighing 48 pounds, she's an active girl who loves daily walks, running, and being close to her people. Lemon is fully house-trained, well-behaved indoors, and would make a fantastic companion for an active family or individual. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is cat-friendly, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household! Lemon is ready for a loving home where she can get plenty of exercise and companionship.

Ongoing Health

Lemon is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. As with all German Shepherds, potential adopters should be aware of common breed predispositions to hip and elbow dysplasia.

Training & Support

Lemon is already house-trained and well-behaved indoors. Her foster family describes her as loyal and gentle, and she loves to stay by your side.

• Transport runs every few weeks, and approved adopters will be placed on the next available transport. Please apply when you are ready to accept a dog.
• We are a volunteer-run rescue and dedicate our time to these dogs. Please only apply if you are serious about moving forward in our adoption process.
• If someone else is involved in the decision-making process, please ensure they are on board before applying.
• Our process includes an application, a phone interview, a video call with the foster home, a virtual home visit, and personal and vet reference checks.

Transportation

Lemon is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption donation and will be arranged to your general area once approved.
