Sarge is smart, curious, and full of energy. He thrives when he has opportunities to play, explore, and be active with his people. He's a total lovebug, very cuddly, and happy to greet new friends. One of his cutest habits is doing a full somersault onto his dog bed after running inside or finishing his dinner. He also proudly hoards his toys, lining them up like treasured possessions.

Sarge would be an amazing match for an active person or family looking for an adventure buddy. Older, dog-savvy children would be best since he can be jumpy when excited. He would do best with another playful pup in the home, as his current BFF is his foster sister Lemon. A fenced yard would be a big bonus, but he could also thrive with a family committed to keeping him exercised.

Sarge is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He sleeps in his crate overnight and when his people are out. He can also be trusted with free roam as he is not destructive. With continued leash training, plenty of toys, and lots of outdoor time, Sarge will be a loyal, joyful companion.
