WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Grey, a beautiful 6 year old tricolored dog with a gentle heart that's just waiting to be appreciated. Grey spent all six years of her life with one family, but through no fault of her own, they no longer had time for her. Losing the only home she's ever known has been a big adjustment, but every day she's showing us more of the wonderful dog she truly is.
Her former family shared that Grey is shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her friendly personality shines through. If she barks when you first meet her, she's simply trying to figure you out. Give her a little patience and kindness, and you'll quickly earn her trust.
Grey has lovely manners around the house. She politely waits for her people to finish eating before she starts her own meal. She enjoys both leisurely walks and energetic runs, and her favorite toys are rope toys. She's an independent girl who enjoys spending time with her family while also being content to entertain herself.
She has done well with adults and children, although she may need a little time to settle into a new home. She may also do well with another dog, but we recommend a dog meet to ensure a good match. She has never lived with cats.
Since arriving at the shelter, Grey's confidence has continued to grow. Each day she becomes a little more relaxed as she realizes she's surrounded by people who care about her and want the very best for her. We truly believe that once Grey is settled into a loving forever home, her sweet personality will fully blossom.
