Meet Archer, a smart, happy, and incredibly loving dog who is ready to steal your heart! Archer was found tied to a tree with his friend Armstrong and left without care. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now thriving with his foster family, but he's dreaming of a forever home. He's a true detective of love, and once you gaze at his picture, you'll be hooked! Archer is deaf, but he hears with his heart and is so happy to be alive and loved.

Archer would love a home where he can be the only furry friend, as he prefers to be the sole focus of attention. Given his past, a loving and patient family is a must.

Ongoing Health

Archer was diagnosed with heartworm when he was found, but he has successfully completed his treatment and is now ready for a happy, healthy life.

Training & Support

Archer is described as house-trained "No," so he will need a family committed to helping him learn. He is also noted as needing an active lifestyle and would benefit from a family who understands and can manage his deafness by using visual cues and positive reinforcement.
