Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes of my new home. I can be a little shy and timid at first because I'm not sure what's expected of me in new situations, but I warm up quickly! My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. While I'm missing part of my tail, I promise I'm not missing any personality! I came all the way from Texas and I'm still getting used to the chill, so I love to snuggle up in a cozy blanket next to my people. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and am doing really well with potty training, especially with frequent potty breaks. I'll need someone to continue teaching me polite manners and how to walk nicely on a leash. I absolutely love treats and am eager to please, so I know with your guidance, I can learn! As a puppy, I enjoy playing with toys, especially bones and chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I’d rather she go get them! She’s also working on teaching me not to jump up when I greet people, but I’m still learning. I've met people of all ages, including children, and I love everyone! I do get excited and might jump up to say hello and let you know I’m here and would love some attention. I’ve met a cat who seems to like me, and while I’m a little scared of him now, I think we’ll become friends. I’ve also met some big dogs and learn from their example. I know when they’re done playing and will go find a toy instead. I enjoy running and chasing them around the yard, and they seem to enjoy playing with me too. They chase the ball my foster mom throws, but I don’t quite see the point, so I just wait for them to bring it back. I'm looking for someone who can see past my timidness and recognize the amazing pup I am! You'll need to continue teaching me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. In return, I promise endless kisses, love, and laughs!

I would love a home that can see past my timidness and help me learn. I enjoy cuddles and walks. I have been around people of all ages and love them. I have been around a cat and big dogs and have learned to interact with them.
