Meet June - a gentle, resilient soul ready for her fresh start.

June was rescued after surviving far more than any young dog should. She arrived extremely underweight, scared, and battling TVT, but she faced every treatment with quiet bravery. She is also likely a distemper survivor, with only a tiny front leg twitch to show for it. Today, June is healthy, cancer-free, and finally ready for a home of her own. She is sweet, calm, walks beautifully on leash, and gets along well with other dogs, though she would also be content as an only pet. Staff and volunteers adore her gentle spirit. After everything she has overcome, this girl deserves a soft place to land.

Transporation

June is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border. This remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
