Lazarus "Lazzie"

Meet Lazarus, also known as Lazzie! This handsome 3-4 year old, 50 lb. black Lab mix is a volunteer favorite, known for his calm, gentle, and quiet demeanor. Lazzie loves to lounge and cuddle on the bed with his people and other dogs, and he gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. He's even socialized at an adoption event, making new friends with his dog companions and strangers alike!

Ideal Home

Lazzie would love a home where he can continue to enjoy lounging and cuddling. He's already living harmoniously with a chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie, so he's likely to be a great fit for many households.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie came to us in rough shape, suffering from mange and an upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, he's now healthy and strong, and he's fully vaccinated and neutered.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He's also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off for programs booked within 60-90 days.

Lazzie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to your state or a neighboring state. Please be aware that pickup locations may vary, and you may need to use services like Life360 or Facebook chats to track the transport van.
