Meet Smokey!

Smokey is a sweet and loving one-year-old pup who weighs 12 pounds. He's smart, alert, and full of energy, making him a fantastic companion for an active household. This little adventurer loves the outdoors and is always up for fun, whether he's playing fetch, chewing on a bone, or romping with his foster brother. He enjoys long walks and is particularly fascinated by birds. After a day of play, Smokey loves to snuggle up for some quiet downtime. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and loves to shower them with kisses and attention.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his playful spirit. He would do best with a family that understands the Schnauzer breed and is equipped to meet his grooming needs and provide both physical and mental stimulation. Due to his energetic nature and vocal tendencies, he is not recommended for first-time dog owners or apartment living.

Ongoing Health

Smokey is a healthy pup.

Training & Support

Smokey is still working on house training, but a consistent potty schedule will help him. He is crate trained and sleeps well in his kennel. As a smart pup, he would greatly benefit from continued obedience training. He knows "kennel up" and is learning "sit" and "stay." His enthusiastic barking when spotting movement outside may need some management, but this can be addressed with the right approach.
