Cookie is an adorable mix of Husky and Pitbull, a big playful puppy with a gentle giant heart! He loves to cuddle and snuggle above all else, but he also has bursts of spunky energy. Cookie is a very smart and quick learner, already mastering "sit" and doing wonderfully with potty training. He's still learning to communicate his needs but is picking it up quickly. Initially, he was unhappy in his kennel, but he's made great progress and now waits quietly. He lives with two other dogs and, after a short adjustment period, loves to play chase and wrestle with them. He's learning to play more gently, and his foster parents are proud of how well he listens when reminded. Cookie finds the resident cat very interesting and can get excited, but he listens when told not to chase. He would do best with dog-savvy cats. Cookie has not met children yet, but he would likely do best with older children who are comfortable around big dogs, as his size and energy could be overwhelming for younger ones. He's a big snuggler who loves to be close to his people, and he's still learning about personal space! Cookie is an extra-large dog with plenty of energy and will need a house, not an apartment. He is so excited to find his forever family!

Cookie would thrive in a home with older children who are comfortable around big dogs. He would do best in a home with dog-savvy cats. He needs a house and would not be a good apartment dog.
