Rooney

Rooney is a beautiful and energetic female Hound/Boxer/Border Collie Mix puppy born in October 2025. She absolutely lives to be loved on and would thrive in an active home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and attention. Rooney is a smart girl who will benefit from early puppy classes or obedience training to help her learn structure and good manners. She's just starting to learn leash walking, and it's a work in progress! Rooney is sure to be a wonderful companion for the right family.

Ideal Home

Rooney would do best in a home with an active family where she can get plenty of exercise. A physically fenced yard is highly recommended for her, and she is not suited for apartment living. She may do well with children 8 years and older, pending observed interaction. Rooney may match with another dog pending a meet and greet, but it's not required. She might do best with male dogs, and small dogs are not recommended. With proper introductions, she may adjust to a dog-savvy cat, though she may chase.

Rooney is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Rooney will benefit from early puppy classes or obedience training. She is still working on leash manners.
