Hello, I'm Mocha! I'm an adorable little puppy with a brindle coat and plenty of white markings, including a cute white tip on my tail that curls. My foster mom says I'm very pretty, and I love being with my people. My favorite thing is following my foster mom around or curling up by her while she works from home. I'm working hard on potty training, and my foster dog sibling has been a great teacher. I still need to go out often because of my size, but I haven't had any accidents inside lately! My foster mom is so proud of how quickly I'm learning. Soon, I'll be able to let you know when I need to go outside.
Since I love being with my humans, I'm still learning that my kennel is my safe space. I'm getting better at settling in my kennel each day, but it's a work in progress. At night, I sleep in my kennel most of the time, but sometimes I get to snuggle with my foster mom for a few hours after my early morning potty break, which I absolutely love! I already know how to sit and play fetch. I'm learning to "leave it" and walk nicely on a leash. There are so many interesting smells that I don't always walk in straight lines yet! Because I'm young, I would really benefit from obedience training. My foster mom thinks I'm super smart and learn quickly by watching the older foster dog. I would love to learn more and bond with my new forever family through training. I thrive on praise and am happy to do tricks for treats!
I haven't met any children yet, but I bet I would love them! Since I'm still a puppy, I can be a little mouthy, and my tiny puppy teeth are sharp. I currently live with a 2-year-old female foster dog who I really look up to. I love playing with her and snuggling up beside her. I'm a very playful and tenacious puppy! I'll be submissive if we play too hard or if I push her too much, as I'm learning boundaries. I love chasing blowing leaves in the yard, playing with my foster sister, and fetching my penguin ball. I've gotten really good at bringing the ball back to my foster mom! I'm also great at checking in and returning to her when I explore the yard.
I love to play hard and go for walks for a couple of hours each day to burn off energy so I can cuddle and take a long nap.
Ideal Home
I would love to live with an active family that will channel my energy with activities like playing fetch and going for walks. I love people being around, and since I'm learning to be crate trained, I'd love a family that is home to take me out regularly.
