Maisie

Maisie is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 2-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing 21 pounds. She can be shy and nervous around new people, animals, and noises, but her gentle personality shines as she builds trust. With patience, reassurance, and a loving approach, Maisie is becoming braver every week.

She would be happiest in a quiet stand-alone home with her own secure yard. Apartments and condos may feel overwhelming, and she is most comfortable staying close to home on walks. Maisie is working hard on her house training and should be crated when left alone. She would do best without other dogs or cats. She is still learning about children and is currently comfortable with a 10-year-old boy in her foster home.

Maisie is working on house and potty training. She needs a patient adopter who understands that building confidence and trust will take time.
