Ongoing Health

All dogs adopted through Wags are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative before adoption (age appropriate). All dogs are given monthly flea/tick preventative, monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and are dewormed regularly. Hela is microchipped.

Training & Support

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• We require a home visit and vet reference.
• If you live in a rental property, we will need a copy of your lease stating that pets are allowed.
• If you have had a pet within the last two years, please provide the vet information. If you have not owned a pet or it has been over two years, a personal reference who can attest to your pet-caring abilities will be needed.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.

Hela is currently located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment.
