We don’t have perfect dogs — but we do have dogs who are perfect for the right someone. Our goal is to match each dog with the home that fits them best and each home with the dog that will sing to your heart.

Fritz is a toy poodle whose breeding days are long behind him, and now he’s fully embracing life with big, playful energy! He’s an incredibly fun, active boy who loves other dogs and would do best with a playful companion to match his enthusiasm. Fritz can be a little nervous at first, but he does well with handling, and once he settles in, his goofy, vocal personality really shines. He’s our resident silly boy who loves to play, loves his friends, and loves to tell you all about it!

Ideal Home

Fritz needs another dog and an active family. He’s young and eager and ready to go! He’ll thrive in a standalone home where he has space to play and a family ready to keep up with him. Fritz likes to vocalize and tell you all about his day, so he is not ideal for apartments or town homes.

Ongoing Health

Fritz has luxating patellas in both rear legs. His gait does not appear to be compromised. Our veterinarian has noted that given his size and age, surgery is optional. We are electing not to repair. He may require surgery in the future, and his owners will understand and be prepared for this.

Training & Support

Leash walking is new for Fritz, but he is up for the learning adventure!
