Pepper

Pepper is a ~7-12 month old, spayed female Heeler/Aussie type mixed breed weighing approximately 30 pounds. She's a smart girl who arrived to rescue saved from a euthanasia list. Pepper is naturally shy at first but warms up with a little time and sweet talking. Once she knows and trusts you, she loves attention! She has medium energy and enjoys walks and playing with toys.

Ideal Home

Pepper is doing well with kids but sometimes forgets her manners and jumps. She has done great with other dogs and loves to play, but she will back away if corrected. Pepper has shown some interest in cats, but it's unclear if she'd be too rough. She is not a fan of loud voices and can be skittish, but she greatly improves once she trusts you.

Ongoing Health

Pepper has been vet checked, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and current on preventatives. She tested negative for heartworm.

Training & Support

Pepper is kennel and house trained. She is working on building confidence and basic manners and is doing great with her leash skills.
